ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Lizzy! I live in Atlanta, and most days you can probably find me somewhere along the BeltLine or sitting on my balcony. I love painting and video games, and I'm usually outside as much as I can.

Hi, I’m Lizzy O’Brien, a UX Designer based in Atlanta. With a BFA in User Experience Design from SCAD and hands-on experience at Comcast improving internal tools, I care deeply about making complex systems easier to understand, easier to use, and more intuitive for the people navigating them.

I’ve always found myself somewhere between tech and art. I took my first coding class in 8th grade, where we built simple websites with HTML and played around with JavaScript animations. I immediately fell in love with experimenting in code and joined a computer science program in high school, but something always felt missing.

Over time, I realized I wasn’t just interested in building applications. I wanted to make them easier to use and more intuitive. I became really drawn to how products feel and function, and how thoughtful design can make complex things make sense.

Now, with a degree in User Experience from SCAD, I’m excited to build things that are easy to use, but also feel thoughtful and well-designed.

Outside of work, I spend the majority of my time painting, gaming, caring for my plants, and being outdoors. I love starting my mornings outside with a cup of coffee and ending my evenings with a sunset run or a painting session. Those parts of my life keep me creative and influence the way I solve problems, think visually, and approach design.
